Exactly! William has a pink bottle that he loves, and he routinely steals my bracelets and wants to put my clips in his hair. He’s too young to understand that society is dumb as fuck and assigns gender to colors, he just thinks pink is cool and that is so okay.
Jake and I have already agreed that we’re not gonna try to “keep William straight”…he’s gonna be whatever he is, and the best thing we can do is acknowledge and support him, and respect his right to body autonomy.
The only thing Jake says is that he wants to make sure William is tough enough that he can beat up anybody who teases him if he wants to dress in pink, LOL
